Your role
- You will contribute in the early development phase to elaborate designs for thermal and fluid dynamic architectures of mechatronic and optical components considering performance, timing and costs
- You will develop models and methods for system identification and control of thermal systems of microlithography equipment
- As a systems engineer, you will develop concepts and check them using simulations and define tests for design verification and model validation.
- Your work will take place in close coordination with interdisciplinary teams consisting of internal and external developers, service providers and suppliers
- An important part of this is the creation and coordination of requirements in close contact with all relevant stakeholders and the creation of development documents
- As part of industrialization, a further task is to ensure design verification, production and integration capability as well as risk management
- Within a mechatronics team, you will represent the topics assigned to you vis-à-vis development projects and customers. The activity is embedded in a development network consisting of customers, external partners from the high-tech industry and research institutions
Your profile
- A very good university degree in aerospace engineering, control engineering, mechanical engineering or physics with professional experience from industry and science
- In-depth knowledge of the theory of numerical modeling, system identification, reduction and control of thermal systems
- Several years of experience in the thermal and thermoelastic design of components as well as in the programming and application of CFD, FE, Matlab and Python.
- An independent and systematic way of working as well as very good organizational and communication skills
- Enjoy working as part of an interdisciplinary team in a highly dynamic environment
- Very good skills in the organization, communication and presentation of tasks and work results.
- Very good written and spoken English skills
