Your role As a well-organized and structured Process Engineering Project Manager, you will lead projects for process development and industrialization of medical technology products. In doing so, you will be responsible for the following tasks: leading international project teams across sites and departments and coordinating their work creating the necessary project plans, e.g. work breakdown structure as well as cost and schedule plans, in cooperation with the involved departments in the event of deviations from the project plan or difficulties in the project, developing solution proposals, generating recommendations and bringing about decisions helping to design the production concept, e.g. with regard to layout, material flow or production control, in accordance with the principles of lean manufacturing evaluating possible automations of manufacturing processes with regard to cost-benefit ratio and, if necessary, implementing them within the project. methodically supporting the development and industrialization of manufacturing technologies, e.g. by initiating and driving problem-solving processes at an early stage coordinating and ensuring the set-up of manufacturing environments, including cleanrooms Your Profile completed engineering studies, e.g. in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering, and at least 5 years of relevant work experience proven experience in successfully managing projects and hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing very good understanding of manufacturing processes and production technology - preferably from the field of medical technology knowledge of qualification of equipment and processes and corresponding regulatory requirements according to ISO 13485, FDA and MDR strong communication skills and fluency in English - German, French or Chinese are an advantage a high degree of initiative and the ability to inspire others enjoy working in international teams and traveling If you would like to learn more about this position, please contact the recruiter in charge: Saskia Mros (saskia.mros@zeiss.com).
