Senior Innovation Manager Health&Lab, you will be responsible for monitoring technological advances in your field and building a close relationship with internal stakeholders and the academic community. Based on your deep understanding of applications and markets, you will then evaluate which opportunities and technologies are attractive for our core markets and initiate and steer activities to pursue those opportunities. In this way, you will play a key role in bringing innovative solutions to fields such as medical technology, biotechnology and life science researchYou will find opportunities for new business in the fields of Life Science Research, Biotechnology and Health, evaluate new applications and technologies, and prepare the proposals for new projectsYou identify areas of innovation through active and systematic screening in focus fields, e.g. personalized medicine, in-vitro diagnostics and translational life science researchYou can actively shape the "New Business Ideas" pipeline in the fields of Life Science Research and Biotechnology at Corporate Research & TechnologyWith your extensive application knowledge and clear understanding of the customer, you will contribute to the success of Corporate Research & Technology, e.g. by initiating and steering development projectsYou will contribute to the success of the Research & Technology Group Function with your extensive application knowledge and customer understanding, e.g. by initiating and managing development projects.Your ProfileA degree in natural sciences, a PhD is advantageousSeveral years of relevant professional experience in academia or industry in the field of biomedicine and a strong interest in microscopy technologiesProven experience and success in managing research and/or development projects in the field of biomedicine, preferably with international participationDeep understanding of life science and medical applications and technologies as well as knowledge of the life science research marketProven skills in dealing with customers, colleagues, and scientific partners as well as an efficient and well-structured working methodsA strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, and a very good command of EnglishWillingness to travel internationally as part of the job An environment that places a high priority on your personal developmentThe opportunity to contribute your own ideas and initiate new projectsThe possibility to closely interact with the academic community, for example at international conferencesThe opportunity to join an experienced and interdisciplinary team of highly motivated innovatorsA secure, permanent employment contract with an attractive corporate pension plan
