Senior Manager Talent & Performance (Focus Talent Identification & Development) (m/w/x)


Your role

  • Primary responsibility for the development of a holistic talent development portfolio incl. global talent programs, concepts, frameworks and guidelines
  • Hands-on responsibility and passion for projects and programs that drive the implementation and the embedding of measures with a focus on the identification and development of talents
  • Support change management in the (business) implementation of the global talent development concepts and frameworks
  • Designing and managing global concepts, frameworks and programs for talents for the ZEISS Group to increase employee engagement, retention and productivity
  • Develop strategies & policies to help to identify and develop talents to support the growth of the business
  • (Co-) responsible to support organizational development measures with a focus on talent development
  • (Co-) responsible for the digital implementation of the global processes within Workday where needed
  • Plan and execute workshops or other dialogue formats
  • Monitor and analyze employee performance metrics to identify skill gaps and development needs as well as set up key performance indicators to measure success of talent and performance development initiatives

Your profile

  • Master's degree and relevant professional qualifications/accreditations (e.g., in behavioral sciences, (industrial) psychology, leadership development, human resources, or similar)
  • relevant professional experience with a focus on human resources, talent development or related field, ideally with international experience in a matrix organization and/or from consulting industrial clients
  • Proven experience in the creation of business-oriented, global concepts and their implementation
  • Strong competency in independently leading projects, including navigating complex stakeholder maps and change management
  • Good knowledge of major concepts and tools of psychometric assessment & experience with setting up development centers
  • Passionate team-player with strong analytical skills combined with a can-do mentality and organizational talent combined with assertiveness and pragmatism
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant software and systems such as learning management systems, performance management systems, and other HR systems (pref. Workday)
  • Fluent business English, both written and spoken
