Your role

In this challenging function you will be responsibility to ensure, that all marketing actions (direct- and online marketing) across the ZEISS Group and its segments are aligned and compliant with the existing requirements on all related markets globally.
By being in close interaction with the Strategic Business Units you will consult and provide instruments to avoid any upcoming risks and thereon based claims of other parties. Following this approach, you will get strategically relevant insights to define and shape future business cases with the goal to unlock unutilized or unknown market opportunities in and across all segments for further business growth.
Furthermore you will be responsible for

  • Develop and implement a strategy to track all marketing activities concerning data protection and its risk management in technical, content and legal aspects
  • Set-up processes to identify any outdated technologies, policies and guidelines and a linked implementation plan on all markets
  • Develop and install a tracking system to identify and to mitigate any risks and concerns
  • Support any business leader and marketing head in planning, set-up or in modification of new or already launched marketing activity by providing consulting and guidance for risk mitigation and data protection
  • Define the state-of-the-art status, analyze the current situation for all segments on all markets and conduct the gap analyzation
  • Obtain an entire overview of the installed technologies, the type of data collection and its current use in the business
  • Screening of current processes in place across all segments, identification of efficiency potential and initiate the standardization based on the developed corporate process
  • Train the business leaders, marketing heads and marketing community on installed processes, correct behavior and how to use the framework to foster and develop business growth

You have

  • a University degree in marketing, business administration, business informatics, data protection or legal
  • approx. 3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing and/or Data Protection
  • the ability to work under pressure and you are assertive at any time
  • the ability to deal with ambiguity in context of consulting and negotiation with segment and marketing heads
  • the willingness to travel internationally and you are fluent in business English
