Our medical robotics team at ZEISS is looking for a highly motivated intern to contribute to research and development in robotics, computer vision, or augmented reality for next-generation medical applications. Your Role
- Work on the development of next-generation medical devices
- Design, implement, and test computer vision, robotic and augmentation solutions for medical applications
- Develop and showcase test systems and prototypes using state-of-the-art technologies
- Plan and conduct experiments and demonstrations to validate concepts
- Collaborate with a team of engineers, medical experts, and researchers
- Present and discuss research findings in team and department meetings
Your Profile
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, medical technology, physics, photonics, or related fields
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or C#
- Knowledge or experience in robotics, computer graphics, augmented reality, or computer vision
- Ideally, experience with 3D graphics
- Creative, pragmatic, and self-motivated with strong analytical skills
- Capable of working independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent organization, problem-solving & communication skills in English and German
- Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
