Our customers use our cutting-edge Microscopes and Software to lead their fields of research - we are looking for someone with a strong sales acumen helping them to discover the possibilities and advantages our wide range of Software Modules offer to grow our Software Business double digit.

From day one you will be an active part of a new and innovative business development team that is committed to establish a scalable Aftersales structure. Identifying and establishing solutions to meet rising customer needs and current market trends for digital offerings will be as much part of your work as spending about half of your time with customers directly. You can leverage a broad portfolio of leading digital offerings - from standard software tools to customer specific solutions and services. You will develop scalable Aftersales campaigns in close collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and bring them to the customer.
As part of a global team working closely together with the German Sales and Service Organization, the position will allow you to gain valuable insights regarding business processes in the different parts of the Company and enable you to actively build a personal network across the company - this is definitively an excellent starting point for your career at ZEISS.
- Above-average university degree in a scientific, engineering or business discipline
- Proven track record in Software Sales
- Experience with research customers is a plus
- Strong collaborative and team-working skills, structured and results-oriented working methods with high customer orientation
- Strong interest and relevant expertise with digital business models and transformation projects
- Strong communication skills to easily work in cross-functional team as well as within agile teams
- Strong English skills are a must
- Willingness to travel min 50% (mainly within Germany)
